Take Part in the 2nd Edition of the Arte Musicale Festival!

Following the success of our inaugural festival in March 2025, it is time for the next edition! Registration is now open for ensembles wishing to participate in the 2027 Arte Musicale Festival.

What is the Arte Musicale Festival?

Arte Musicale, an ambitious music organisation based in Ghent, brings together six amateur music ensembles. In 2025, we proudly celebrated our 35th anniversary, marking the occasion with the very first Arte Musicale Festival.

Now, Arte Musicale warmly invites you to the second edition of this three-day international music festival, held in the heart of one of Europe’s most enchanting medieval cities. From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 March 2027, composers, choirs and orchestras from around the world will gather in the historic city of Ghent to celebrate a shared passion for music and culture.

Each festival day has its own unique musical focus. On Friday, composers take centre stage, challenged to create an original work for a wide variety of ensembles, ranging from children’s choirs to symphony youth orchestras. On Saturday and Sunday, choirs and orchestras of every size, style and level are invited to perform a 20-minute programme before an enthusiastic audience and a distinguished professional jury. Receive valuable artistic feedback and let your talent shine on the stage of the Arte Musicale Festival Ghent.

More than just a festival, this is an opportunity to grow, connect and flourish.
